Arma 3 takes too much time, complexity, and effort for a great game. To me, Arma 3 is just Arma 2 but better in every way.

Squad was literally made to address the issues with specifically Arma 3 and COD/BF4 in particular. ago Can't really give many specific reasons without knowing what you're looking for, but arma 3 is still being updated, has a much bigger community, more mods which are still being updated and made, better controls, better UI, etc. The problem is, you won't find the deep level of teamplay that you find in Squad without huge levels of commitment and time. Sometimes even alot better, cooler, bigger. If this is what you are looking for, I promise you that will find EXACTLY what you are looking for in Squad.ĭon't get me wrong, its possible to do all the things you can do in Squad, you can do in Arma 3. alot of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ out there that dont communicate properly, dont know what they are doing and dont try to learn, and jsut abunch of "cod kids" style players that are coming in stricly based off of what they are hearing. but i wills ay his opinion of squad is acuurate, your only problem is going to be community. i dont know much of arma, this guy actually clarified alot for me.

A year or two ago I would have said Arma 3. But Arma is not Arma anymore and has been take over by life mods. I have 3000 hrs in Arma 3 but I haven't played it really in about 4-5 months.

So I'm basically looking for a tactical/strategy game where the team plans on how to do a mission, communicate with your team and have a leader.
